lyrics

Hook
I did what I felt
And you played what was dealt
And we did what we like cuz it felt alright yeah

But now some things have changed,
And you see how deranged,
And we came to tell y'all this demonic claim
(It just feels right)

You would catch me riding through District streets, where all the killers meet. And all the hustlers grind, so all that sin competes. I'd greet all of them deep, I was sound asleep, everyone after a mill but none of us was ever meek. I speak with street authority what I would seek, to do my evil but I prayed that I would never reap. Cuz death it always keeps, but still we thought being a menace to society was better than being Shareef. My gun was my relief, It kept me feeling sleek, it made veggies out of situations that looked like beef. But to what end tho a 40 with extendo, had me on edge shout out to cliff jumpers, now you feeling my mentals. I wanna live my life but secretly I hate my life, but living wrong for right reasons is how you get your stripes. And in them nights I would smoke down and think of Christ, I'd get too high and then forget because it feels right.

And you played what was dealt
And we did what we like cuz it felt alright yeah

But now some things have changed,
And you see how deranged,
And we came to tell y'all this demonic claim

V2
Thought I was best when my back was against the wall but behind the scenes it's just evil dog. And when them paws start to scratch you, your pride'll be like attack who, I'm that dude, plotting how you gonna snatch dudes, this is what it comes back to. Back when Shaquille was Shaq-Fu we was moving our pack through, criminal ideologies, making sure what we rap we do. So you, could never question my gangsta is true, sold every gram of crack and rat tat tat tat's blew. But my gang wasn't colors, was Belle Haven and others, unified by a million lies and some wasted lives. We were soon to discover, some of us under surveillance and then the veil lifts, to now we assailants with bailiff's. And we was proud of that, would be boasting upon it, we never called it sin, never called it demonic. But that was only a segment of what evil's designing, whether or not we knew it, demons were shifting the climate.

And we did what we like cuz it felt alright

But now some things have changed,
And you see how deranged,
And we came to tell y'all this demonic claim
